PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHTS

Beat By Bits

The open-air adaptation of 16BIT, Paula Rosolen's exploration of the techno phenomenon. Representing stage performance in an outdoor setting, the performers seize, with the precision of a metronome, the energy inherent in techno music.

Performed as a part of Festival Paris L’Été 2023 - at three iconic outdoor locations: Notre Dame, Place de L’Hôtel de Ville, and Berges de Seine - and Festival Jogging 2024 at Carreau de Temple.

Bodylex

A timely dance work by choreographer Rhys Ryan, which weaves movement with metaphor to reveal the invisible laws that shape our actions.

Performed alongside Emma Riches, Isabelle Beauverd (Melbourne), and Anika de Ruyter (Adelaide). Nominated for Best Choreography (Green Room Awards 2022)

18-21 March 2021 / Dancehouse, Melbourne
22-26 February 2022 / Bakehouse Theatre, Adelaide

AID - Red Stair Ampitheatre

An outdoor performance of A.I.D. by Alisdair Macindoe, at the public space surrounding the Red Stair Amphitheatre in Southbank Melbourne.

This iteration of AID, on Friday 11 February 2022, featured 12 dancers performing across 1.5 hours, functioning as a socio-choreographic experiment and improvised dance intervention for public space. Dancers responded to real time instructions generated by the A.I.D. ONLINE system delivered through discreet earpieces, to celebrate spontaneous public performance and impart a sense of collective consciousness.

Noice/ Noise

Acclaimed far beyond Frankfurt, choreographer Paula Rosolen develops her new dance production from the gripping, shimmering roar that constantly surrounds us. In "Noice/Noise," the dancers cut a path through the noise, challenging it and, amidst a highly evocative stage design, creating a physical expression for the oscillation between clarity and chaos, simplicity and explosion. Everything is noise: wailing drunks on the last subway. Noise music. The overwhelming sound and image impressions of scrolling through social media. Op art. Or the endless churning of thoughts in one's own head that just won't stop. Noise never really stops.

Performed at the Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm, in Frankfurt, 7-9 March 2025.
