Self Repair
The process by which a speech error in conversation is recognised and corrected by the speaker. Like analogue autocorrect or verbal sticky tape.
In this work for Melbourne Fringe Festival 2017, Peas and Rice noticed they had some dialogic deficiencies to repair.
Colour Correction
Pia was a purple-lover, Rhys didn’t touch red (unless it was a sparkly dance costume!), and now the two love blue. What brings us to ascribe a value to a hue? In a bid to answer this question, Peas and Rice returned to Melbourne Fringe 2018 with a new work that investigated human relationships with colour.
